correct me if I am wrong but is possible to get a Mazda 3 like mine to run in the 15.5 - 15.98 range- I have a post in the street racing part is this forum were I went up against a Mustang GT convert, as was able to hang w/t, and they basically called me retarded, the convert GT runs in the mids 15 I believe too

If anything I have learned not to street race because, you dont have anything to show for it in the end except a possible court summons

Just because you can hang with something from a roll does not equal times. Especially since there is the FWD / RWD difference.

Anything is possible, depending on how much money you want to spend.

Since most of us are running around 16.1, getting down to 15.98 shouldn't be a big problem just with perfecting your driving technique or shedding some extra weight. You'll have to make some mods to get to low- or mid-15s, though.

It is entirely possible to get a manual 3 into the 15 second range. There have been quite a few people who have done it and posted time slips (without mods) over at 3forums.

Because of the gearing differences, the Aussie SP23 can run a 15.2 bone stock.

So, if a mustang GT is posting 15 second times, and you can get yourself into the 15 second range as well, depending on what someone's definition of "hang" is, I see it entirely possible.

uhm, v6 mustangs runlow and mid 15s. Sorry to pee in your cheerios, I used to have 96 6 banger and 2000 gt. On a good note i have seen really worn out automatic 94 gts that have 2nd gear going out with bad drivers beaten by my 96 5 speed

Mods done to car: weight reduced flywheel + CAI
I was rolling on heavy 17'', so I'm sure I could touch mid 15 with 15''
