Purchasing CX9 need some advise...

Hey guys,
I'm looking to purchase CX9 GT and I've found 3-4 in clean history and accident free with different prices and different years. The Best that fit my budget is either 2007 GT with Nav and DVD player fully loaded for $22000 CAD with 65000 km on it or 2008 exactly the same, nav, dvd, and same km for 26000km on it. Should I pay that extra $4000 for just one year upgrade? I know 07 has 3.5L and 08 is 3.7..... Does it make that much of different since it's going to be my wife's car with hardly not much of driving or very low km she would put on the CX9... I would really appreciated any advise and your help. Let me know which one you would think is the right car.
Right now I have Lexus RX350 2008 which the lease is ending soon and i'm thinking not to buy back the car since they want $35000 Tax inc for it.
thanks to all of you guys in advance.

Here is the pics of both car that I'm interested.
P.S The 2008 has the moon roof instead of DVD player. Which makes no difference to us.

'08 gives you 7% more torque (some increase in horsepower), but decreases in MPG than the '07.
IMHO, make sure the one you buy has all the recalls and TSBs (if applicable) done before you take it home.
Naturally, '07 has more of them than the '08.

It depends on who is selling it. If both are private party, then neither may come down much, but if they are at dealers...you can get em' down alot. My 9 was valued @ 28700 nada used when I got it (40ish new, mfr may 08, purchased in Oct. 08' and traded in Nov. 10' and I purchased it in March of 11', so it was actually only driven for 2 years) and I got it for 19500 after trade-in (trade-in was only worth a few thousand). So you can talk the 08 down alot, you should be able to get it for roughly just over half of what it was new at this point, if it is at a dealer/used car lot. 08 did have a few changes, like you said, the engine to 3.7, but also introduction of BSM in 2008 and electroluminescent gauges, april/may-ish of 08 is when the transmission valve shutoff issue went away (generally speaking). I have seen quite alot of technical service bulletins which apply only to 2007 models. My vote goes for 08.

Both of them are Private dealer(Not Mazda dealer) and the 08 wont drop the price even a penny.... they said just price +tax at no extra charge what so ever!!!! but the 07 original asking price was 23,888 and he dropped the price to 22k. I think I could still get 1k lower but that`s about it. I think price in USA is allot cheaper than what we have up here :S!!!!! So far all I could find from Autotrader.ca which my most search are, these two dealers are the lowest price car and I really liked the 08 but 4k extra makes it little difficult.
thanks again to all of you guys.
