PS3 date announced at E3

back to the topic of ps3 though....ps3 is over priced for what its worth.the blu ray discs do hold memory than standard or hd dvds but did anyone realize that that means it will take a crap load longer to read?even with the hd dvds that are out now,its supposed to have a significant loading time,i cant even imagine how long the blu ray discs will take.

also only the $599 system of the ps3 will have the hdmi port on it.the $499 one has alot less stuff that is worthless to buy if you cant even have the "supreme" graphics that theyre talking about.ps3's controller doesnt even have vibration! thats horrible! they said it would interfere with the motion sensing technology thats in the controller.yet the nintendo Wii has vibration and motion sensors in the controller?

Last I read was nintendo was suing sony for copying theyre controllers vibration technology.so sony backed out.Sony even copied the xbox360's menu button in the middle of the controller. $ony P$3=CRAP! the only good thing about the ps3 is that you can probably buy the $600 version when it comes out and resell it on ebay right away for like $2500 cause there are idiots that would pay that much.

i had a dreamcast. playin w/ the lcd memory card rocked so much.

i remember playin nfl2k online. that was some of the first online play on a console i ever did. now i'm on all the time.

i also remember having the web broswer. and looking up porn on the dreamcast because my parents didn't 'track the history' on it.

I love all the declarations you make without ever even touching or seeing the console in real life. And how do you figure load times will be so much longer? Yes the disc holds more data but that data is crammed into a smaller space, requiring less disc movement compared to cd or dvd.

ok first off i read on xbox.com forum and other random sites that the blu ray disc only reads at a 2x speed max where as reg dvds are around 19x,just tellin ya wut i read. and as for touching or seeing the console in real life, i actually have seen it cause i went to e3 last year where they had viewings of it and games on display.however last year none were playable.
