Proud New owner 09 Sport Pearl White MS3

I think these cars will just be like the Shelby edition dodges in the 80's. They dont sell for too much more then the non Shelby editions in similar condition. Those cars were even signed by Carroll Shelby, had lower production quantities, and had the build number in the dash.

haha...

incase you didn't notice, those cars were total misses; these aren't. you didn't see them setting any standards, or garnering any major awards...or anything. the 80's were an awkward time for automakers, and using an obscure omni based vehicle wasn't the way to go as everyone found out.

the ms3 is a trend-setting performer, based on a number one selling japanese platform, the 3. refer to my last post on my feelings on the subject, but talk about apples to oranges.

re: your comment about the next version...do you know how much that car will be? The current STI has set a precedent. The high cost of the new unit will probably increase the viability of the current platform for alot of people, atleast regarding their pocketbook, and in term held uphold the value.

total speculation from what I've read.

obviously the next speed3 is going to be based on the 2010 redesign and seems very credible that the engine is going to be coming from either the Focus ST or RS tunes. (250hp or 300hp).

with Suburu's new "updates" to the WRX, I think Mazda HAS to put in 300hp to remain competitive. With that said, I'm pretty sure the next speed should approach and be around the $25k-30k line to maintain their price/performance.

anyways, all speculation but we'll be able to form a better picture after the LA auto show in regards to pricing of the 2010 3's.
