i'm new to the track day thing. i would guess you can't bring passengers on your track runs. is this correct?

really? very cool! obviously they would have to rent a helmet. any other fees they would need? any limit to the number of passengers? sorry for the 20 questions, i didn't see this info on the website, and would like to bring some non-mazda friends rather than go solo. thanks.

oh, one other thing. is the registration per car or per driver? for example, if my non-mazda friend wanted to drive my car, would they have to pay their own registration?

"Here are the answers to your questions:

"Passengers are allowed in cars after the morning sessions. You should only
have one passenger with you while driving on track. All passengers are
required to wear a helmet, but there are no fees for passengers.

"There is no extra fee for other drivers to share the same car. Your track
fee is for one spot at the track. If you wish to let other people use your time
on track, that is up to you and it doesn't cost extra. If you have another
driver who wishes to share your car, but wants to run in a different run group,
then a second track fee is required."

Members are not signing up in force because we are protege owners and many of us are too cheap to shell out for the track day. Despite the fact that the cost is phenomenal for a track day. Come on folks, sign-up.
