Steph, I think last year was awesome, I was there.... Been there done that T-Shirt to prove it.. hehe! Ok, I know that I made it from Vegas and the guys from Arizona rolled as well, so I'm sure they'll come in again. I will try and see how many guys from Vegas would be able to make it.

This thread really wansnt meant for location ideas... but its good to see that people are interested in going. We know the locations that are available to us, and will work with that for the future. Just wanted to get an idea, if it was worth any of our time to put this on again. apparently it is. Thanks guys!

That question was answered immediately after the 1st PFest...Hell yes it's worth doing again!

I couldn't attend but just from the resulting threads, pics and chats...it was clear PFest has a bright future Hell...even before it happened I believed it would work out...that's why Mazda Forums & I fully support it!

if its during the winter, hell i got like a 2 month break off from school and i know tons of people from cali (used to live there) i might as well stop by for the PFEST...sounds like it should be fun!!

that sucks that "protegefest" has to be in california. that means no one from the east or midwest will ever get to go (unless they happen to be in the area at that time). i guess its more like a large california protege meet and not really protegefest

ProtegeFest is put on by MOCC and supported by the Mazda Forums and Mazda NA. This is a club event, put on by a club in CA, which is why it IS held in CA... You guys are more then welcome to set up an event with all our support, hopefully we can make it out and enjoy it with you guys. It is encouraged, because it is soo much fun, and MF has the clubs back. I know that Promazda has some great events for Proteges back east.

Just like Sevenstock - put on by The So Cal RX club..its an international event...and there also is a Rotary Revolution back east.. not sure who puts that on though..

I have family out in NorCal. Maybe i'll make a roadtrip out there. My dad's made the drive from Jax to SD in 3 days...so I wonder how long it will take me from ATL to ***?

Just wanted to add that BMW has a meet every year in North Carolina for all the z3/m roadster owners. And then there's the well known biker events where everyone from around the nation come. Also, like Steph said there's sevenstock and rotary revolution. This year people literally came from around the world to go to sevenstock. So if you can make to the next "protegefest" cool.

I wish we could have the PFest in the center of the U.S., therefore everybody has an equal drive and we have more attend and from a vast area! And the Cali guys can get a feel for driving cross country for PFest!

Either way i'll try to be there this year!
