charles, i'm actually changing out the stock grille. i'll be replacing it with the dgm fg grille with a custom emblem. i'll post pics again when i get everything else done to the car.

lately, i've been having the photo bug bite me again. i'm tempted to pop some 120 in my old tlr and get a little crazy again.

painting struts is fun. did dave measure his ground clearance before and after painting? i'll be home in a bit. lab is wrapping up. i love lab days where we have to use the computer. shhh... i'm not supposed to be here.

overlays are from blue batmobile. he posted up there somewhere.

blue bulbs are cheapos from target and are for looks. they're just in my high beams. low beams are sylvania silver stars, as are the turn signal bulbs in the headlight housing.

What drop to you have on your car? I have aset of HKS springs on my wifes car and I am waiting for my lip from the DGM gb. I am wondering about the drop because I am trying to get an idea on how low the front end will bewhen I get this lip. I dont want her to have to worry about scraping it all over even though she is great with her car. Anyway, car looks great, gets me even more excited to get the lip in for my wifes car.

upgraded: the springs are eibach pro-kit with a 1.4" drop in the front. total ground clearance up front is 4.5" with the lip attached. it's REALLY low.

Cool, the HKS springs are just a bit lower than the factory mp3 springs but not quites al slow as the Eibach. She should have no trouble. Thanks.

Hey Truc,

After painting my struts, my car got a raise kit of about 1/2" too. This sucks I agree but the handling is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Kelly is still mad at me. LOL

thanks guys. yeah, so for all doubters out there, painting your struts does increase your handling. when dave and i's struts were black, taking turns at about twice the posted suggested limit was as hard as any sane person would go. now, after painting, a 25mph turn can be had at 80, as reported by dave and kelly. i haven't pushed mine yet, but it sure does feel more sure-footed.

hahahahaha, nice nice, are you coming to the next drive too??? i am SO excited for it, hopefully by then i will have my springs and my mp3 struts, so my lil sedan can keep up with you guys!! not to mention, its gonna be much prettier to with the side skirts/front lip and rear bumper...and a gorgeous engine bay w/a header and the new mp3 muffler i just got put on today at the install meet. It was posted in the MI section!!! you know that you are MORE than invited to show up at any MI meet!!

Kelly is a wuss (right Truc) hehe She had her eyes closed thru the turns, it was an easy 65 thru the 15 and 25 mph. turns. But definately then back up to 80 + Although she yelled at me so much my ears are still ringing.
