Protege5 Emblems on front 1/4 panel

So,
My rather expensive trip to the dealer today resulted in the purchase of 2 OEM Protege5 emblems for my baby. The end result managed to ding my wallet $74 CAD... But the end result is worth it I would say! I will attach the pictures (not the best quality, but you get the idea.) The project was super easy. The stock decals come with 2 pegs in them which anchor them in the hatch. Needless to say, I wasn't about to go hogwild drilling holes in my fender. So I took my visegrips and carefully turned the pegs until they snapped off (just plastic.) Then I used am 80 grit sandpaper to make it flush with the adhesive on the back. Finally it was a matter of measuring from the door, and lining it up with the curve of the front. Lemme know what you think

so i assume u didnt have side markers there? cause I was gonna replace mine with badges(different ones) but the hole behind the side markers is farkin huge, and the badge would just barely cover it.

I may still do it if I seal the hole shut cause it does barely cover it but I am worried about leaking and the fact that with the hole it wont have much to bond/stick to.

Bought them from Sunridge Mazda.
I called and ordered them yesterday and they came in from TO today.

Yes I have an '02 so no side markers for me. I wanted side markers but I like these more now

Yep, you hit it bang on. Stupid OEM $37 chrome stickers... Oh well they are different than others that's all I care about.

I really like that! I have some ideas for placing the protege5 badge too...but at 37$ CAD a piece..I need to think twice!

btw, you should add a little ".com" after the protege5 badge

Sorry i have to disagree with most of you... I dont like it all...
it makes the side of the car look to busy...and chrome looks cheesy atleast on the side of the car
