Protege03ak46's Build Thread

The retarded amount of bump steer I now have is getting old.

Something like this will be the solution. stay tuned

^^^ I was wondering the same thing. If I'm asking maybe I don't have it?

PS- I forgot to drop off that inner tie rod at the Post Office this morning (doh!), but it will go out tomorrow.

All good Evan, really appreciate it!

I doubt many people have it, expt for the slammed crowd. Then again, proteges have the tie rods on top of the knuckle, which could cause trouble even when your only lowered a bit. Say your in a turn that you know takes a curtain amount of steering input to take you all the way through. Bump steer throughs that out the window. It's like turning, but needing more and more steering to complete the turn. Could also jurk the steering out of your hands if you hit uneven parts of the road. It's scary stuff imo.

This is the basic design:

The product hkpro5 made is not the same. This is a adjustable tie rod not end link. This will attach the steering rack to the hub and control steering. A little more important. Lol. Stay tuned for a build thread fr

Anyway, picked up my aac Personal steering wheel today. Love this thing
