Protege Link List

Here is a list of all of the links I have found over the months I had my Protege5. I thought I would post them up here to share with everyone. I originally had them all on my website, but I closed my website after getting rid of the Protege.

Hope this can help some people out.

The file is in Microsoft Word 2000 format or ".doc" for those of you who have alternate text programs. All the links are active in the document such that you can click them from Word and Word will open an internet window and direct you to that link.

Let me know if any of you have any problems with the links and I will modify the document and re-upload it.

i used to cruise around focusfanatics.com a lot a while back (i thought i was going to end up with a svt focus...the p5 won me over) and they had a post that must have been a mile long with links to anything and everything you would ever want/need for a focus. that would be sweet for our mazdas as things are definitely not as abundant as certain other cars (thinking civics...).

oh, and thanks for the post. I'll just have to add them to my giant encyclopedia of links i've seemed to amassed for the p5.

Let me know if there are any links that need to be added to this list. I have no problems keeping this list going so that everyone has a huge resource at their fingertips.

I originally had an idea to make a database where you could search for a manufacturer or a specific part type and it would bring up all the links that applied to the results (I am a programming major so it was an interesting project). If there is enough interest I might continue on with that idea.

god bless you computer programmers...what would our world be like with people like me who absolutely cringe at the mere thought of writing a line of code? i've taken a c++ course in the past...only thing it taught me is that i have no business trying to code. How this could sound like an "interesting project" I don't know...but I'm sure a whole mess of people would love to get their hands on something like that.

I dont hate you Ken I just never got an offer to be sponsored by you! Haha. Just kidding! (cabpatch) I honestly didnt know about your site. How I missed it I dont know. Granted this list was also composed before I got very big on the forums. Ironically it wasnt until after my Protege5 was gone until I got really active on this forum. Interesting huh? Now that I dont have the car I participate more on the forums for that car?

Also as a note for all you out there interested to know. I think I will continue with my database project. I think it will be a fun project for me and also set up some ground work for doing the same thing with my new car.

Also, Ken if you dont mind could you compile a product list for me so I can make all the appropriate database entries for you so when I get this database project up and running you will be the first in there. Then all who obtain this database in the beta stages will see all your products first. I dont know if you already have like an inventory list or something like that, but basically all I need is the Product Type (Air Intake, Exhaust, etc..), Manufacturer, Applicable Car Models (Protege, P5, MP3, etc...). Keep in mind I am trying to keep this on a P5 level, but am also open to expanding it for the MP3 and the like.

Now do you feel hated? (cabpatch) Haha.
