Anyone ever have problems or huge delays on getting their orders in? I placed an order on Jan. 30th, took them about a week to tell me not all the parts were in stock, and said they would be shipped 2/8/10. Currently still in "processing" and have no new news on what's going on with the order. Not to mention no response from my most recent e-mail.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any problems with their orders either being not completed or taking a very long time to be completed.

Waiting for a "Total Engine Rebuild Package".

just give him time to respond, i got angry at first too but then i realized he is a very busy person with this business

it will get there eventually, and for future reference, if u need something from them, order it early
~10 days is not a long time at all btw

I understand that 10 days isn't really a long time and that he is busy, but when you're paying for everyday, it just sucks.

this is slightly more effort to get organized/shipped compared to, say, a turbo timer.

as others have mentioned, ken is a pretty busy guy. trust that he's doing what he can to fulfill your order, and if you'd like to get a hold of him, shoot him an email or PM on here for a status update.

the total engine rebuild package consists of parts from mazda that are not stocked at my local dealer or even local warehouse. my warehouse is in missouri. i am in chicago. if that warehouse does not have the parts, then i am forced to wait on them from california. we are also under snow advisory and have been since tuesday of this week. my mazda delivery occurs, under optimal conditions, twice weekly, unless i order overnight which induces a 15% rush charge as well as ups overnight freight. the delivery only occurs on the monday or wednesday following the order date, and they require no less than 48 hours of advance fax in order to confirm the parts will actually be on that shipment's truck. if they are coming from california, its worse. this is why, with rare exceptions like this which are essential and sell well, i am deleting OEM parts from my store.

hope this answers your question. this is what i tried to convey in less complex terms in my initial email.

yea thats what i was gonna say too, dont u get them straight from mazda?
that would take longer then, the local dealership took over a month just to get me some turbo gaskets lol

i do, but they have to go to my dealer before i can pick them up. i pay dealer cost, but mazda's semi won't drop crates off at my house :)

OK, I'm closing this seeing as the question was answered.

To the customer: PM ken, call him, IM, text, whatever you need to do to contact him if need be. if you want to post a complaint here, you need to clear it with the admin/supermod per the forum rules first.
