protege emblems

I recently removed the protege emblem on the trunk and didn't even think to look inside the trunk to see if there were holes. Well turns out there were and now I'm screwed with two holes in my trunk. I can get some double sided tape and put the protege emlem back on, but I really don't like it . Any suggestions to get rid of the emblem and the holes.

any good body shop can take care of it. They would spot weld them, grind and paint
