Protege 5 strut bag kit on Mazda 3..will it work?

im looking at the new SuicideDoors.com catalog (im a minitrucker..lol) and they have a strut bag kit for the 99-04(?) Mazda Protege 5 that they have listed in there for sale. i was wondering if the suspension mounting for the Protege 5 is the same as the Mazda 3's?? thanks for the info....

They do have bag kits for 3's. Why in gods name you would take one of the best handling small cars ever made and turn it into a sloppy tank I really don't know, but they do make the kit.

k so here is why i wanna do it and if this offends anyone here...so be it:

why would i wanna be like every other Mazda owner/import owner and only put lowering springs on my car? for one its the adjustablity factor of having that setup. i can raise it or drop it at the hit of the switch. next reason is because its my car and i can spend my money on it as i see fit. i dont wanna be a sheep and do the same thing everyone else is doing. why be like everyone else? be an individual in your build. thats what im wanting to do. and in case you missed my first post...im a minitrucker and i like bags, b****es and body drops. lol.

Just a heads up i have been looking around and the only place i can find a kit is airbagit.com. runs about 1800 for a full kit

i wasn't anything about if they are good or not just that they are the only ones that make a kit for the 3

So instead of being like every one in the mazda world and make meaningfull performance centered mods you are going to be like everyone else in the wanabe tuner world and trash your ride and handling just to have a "look"

my buddys baggin his 3 after we install the turbo kit next month, he always scrapes with the body kit he has on so he wants to be abel to raise it to get out the drive way and s*** haha so if you find anything out let me know

i have a mp5 and i have the easy street strut bags
with a buddy club body kit
it sits like 4cm from the ground and raised up all the way is about 3-4in higher
i like the ride
and i love how it proforms
you just have to find the right ride height and you will be crusin
i think k-sport might have a kit for the mazda 3
and if not get a hold of easy street
excellent kit no mods needed to install

easystreetair does not make a kit for mazda 3 yet

i bagged my 3 a little over a year ago using a modified ford focus kit from easystreet

airbagit.com is crap...the kit that they say is for the "3" is actually just the protege kit...it will not fit and ive heard nothing but bad things about there customer service and products

a guy i know from another forum bagged his 3 using a setup from universalairsuspension.com
