Protege 5 Micro R/C

Stylinconcepts had these for sale from APC. I had heard a few people state that they had ordered them. Has anyone gotten any of these? Can someone post a picture?

I had gone to stylinconcepts to go purchase one of these, and they stated that APC is no longer producing the protege5 version. I have sent two e-mails to APC to inquire about them, but have not received a response.

If they ARE about to discontinue the model, and they happen to have some stock, would y'all be interested in doing a group buy? Perhaps we can convince them to start producing them again.

Just cancelled my order for the protege5 from stylin' concepts.

Count me in for the group buy if it ever gets started.

I just talked to A guy at stylinconcepts.com and he told me that APC was no longer going to sell the P5 model. I sent an e-mail to APC, and here's the brilliant answer I got from their sales person:

any local pepboys or autozone can those parts for you

I'll let y'all know if I find out anything.

So did anyone actually receive one of these?

That's interesting because I just talked to someone at StylinConcepts as well. I got the offer to get a WRX or RSX or some other car is a replacement, and I told them to send me the WRX and I was going to give it to a friend as a Christmas gift. But they sent the RSX instead so now I have to exchange it with them, what a pain. Anyways, when I was on the phone, I asked about the Protege5, which I still have on order, and she said that APC told them they would be available after December.

Yeah, ... that whole thing was a real big money pit, ... tried that.

Anyone want to buy a used Ofna Z10? Everything (including a starter box) except the controller/receiver.

Anyway, ... they said beginning of year, and if we DO do a group buy, I would of course include our northern friends, ... I came from Michigan originally, so I kind of feel for y'all, ....

Yeah, obviously they don't speak English as their first language.

The e-mail from the guy at stylin concepts said "im sorry to inform you but the P5 is not gonna be in for a long time, please e-mail me back letting us know if you prefer a wrx or an rsx". I just told them to credit my credit card because they all seem like idiots and every single person tells you something different. As for APC i don't think i need to comment.

Okay, so I just heard from Stylin Concepts and they said that they are cancelling all the orders for the P5 because now instead of January they didn't know when APC was going to get them. He told me like June or July The search goes on for a toy/model/something of the Protege5
