The oldest profession that still exists. Just was wondering what others opinions are on this.

I could careless because the issue doesnt directly affect me. But if its going to stand there should be some sort of regulation to it because of the stds nowa days

Not to be a dick, but when see people use effect/affect wrong it bugs me. You meant "affect."

dating is kinda like prostitution.. so are porn stars. -=\
its kinda legal but its not.. the only reason its not 100% legal is cus the goverment hasnt found a way to tax it. -=\

When you see a 22 year old with a huge diamond and a 50 year old boyfriend, what does that make her?

Proststution is legal, IMO.

Yikes..I'm in the minority here. I say no for several reasons including the fact that if you need to pay for sex, you don't deserve to get it. Now...if she hunts you down and ***** you for your money...that's different. You didn't go out looking.

Other reasons...infidelity is dishonesty...that's the one thing I can't tolerate in a relationship. Now...if you're not in a relationship then refer to aforementioned reasoning. And, yes folks, STDs...

So...while it'd be interesting to have it legalized (tax increases, regulation) and I am whole heartedly against *more government* and telling people what to do, I'm not going to push for legalizing it because it doesn't affect me and is against most (but not all) of the moral fibers in my body.

Linux: If you were talking about me saying I would change it for Mark, I was referring to my bad spelling. I tried to take care of the poll but I dont think I can because I dont mod this section. :p

I agree with you. Any one remember when Hugh Grant cheated on Elizabeth Hurley with a prostitute? What an idiot.

Prostiution is legal in some places what about the "Bunny Ranch"

Prostitution is legal in Navada except for in the county that Las Vegas is in.
(not 100% on the zone limits)

It sould be legal, but with no regulations. Those that get STD, good for them (rofl)

One thing to keep in mind is that marrage will no longer exist as men can get what they want from a women for ALOT less money :D
