I am having a problem with 12V constant power wire, where to find one under the center dash pod.

Yes Mod's I posted this under how to so be so kind to delete it.
This is what I've done so far.

First thing I did was came in here to find out what I could and found that some one had used this wire as a parking light wire hook up. That wire color is (orange w/Black strip and hooked up the amber/orange wire to it ((well that wire is the only one I used that I really don't think that's what it is.))

Now I went a head and took the radio out to get to the Cig lighter and used it as my Acc/ white wire to another orange/power wire and Black to Black. Well now I left the Red wire loose till I find out what wire is a constant 12V power.

Well now I had to see if it was working so ((with out the lights on or the Key On)) I hook up the Red wire to the radio Orange w/Black wire and the damn thing came on, did it ceremony and went to zero. So I cranked it up and it did it's dance, light from white to amber blah blah blah so on. Well now I'm trying to figure it out with the car running I push the button blue flashing so on. Lone story shorter the damn thing wont get off of zero now.

That's what makes me think that the orange w/black strip is not a illumination wire.

PLEASE HELP ANY BODY!!!

HAHAHAHA you lost me!!! OK I installed mine on my steering column first off. Wiring is RED to 12 volts all the time. Black is ground. The white and orange tell the unit when to turn on and what colors you want when. The boost sender just plugs in so you can't screw with them, but make sure its plugged in well and in the correct spot.

ya ya ya I know all that but that doesn't help.(well it was @ first then I found out that the orange w/silver dots is the right wire for parking lights) I found out it aint the way I hooked it up. It's the gauge, I have to send it back . It work's for a few seconds then it stays on zero all the time and it will flash from white to amber and back with or with out the light being on. (uhm)

Ok well I thought you were saying something about not having the red hooked up which is the power wire.

Thank You very much though Mr. Craighjr I know, I was just using it to make sure things were hooked up right.

Well hell maybe it ain't the gauge but the sensor unit cause as I was pulling out the gauge I thought I would check/play with the wires (just to make sure) and found out that I can rock the plug for the sensor to the back of the gauge and the needle will drop down where I started (21-22) on the Vac side put all it would do there is bounce from 22-21 nothing else. Now when I take it away the warning signal go's off and the needle moves all the way to 30psi (or vise-ver-sa) Ka sa ra sa ra (nailbyt)

OK OK, Dee DeeDee
I had to learn. But I did it.
White to the cigerette lighter {ACC}, {Parking Lights}Orange/Amber to the Orange w/silver dot's( by the cigarette lighter ) and the
12V Red to the Orange w/Black strip on the top right of the plug. (on the radio plug.)
