Prospective MS6 Owner..

Just a few questions.

I found a beautiful 06 ms6 with ~25k miles on it at a dealership. heres the deal.
06 Ms6, titanium gray/black leather Sport package.
6spd/AWD w/ sunroof.
Havent test drove this ms6 in particular but have driven one before. Been a while so i just would like some feedback / important facts to know type info.

Sticker price is 18.6k and i have 4k goin down between trade in / down payment and will be financing the rest for 60 mo's.
The dealer informs me that the 8yr / 100k manufacturer warranty still exists, but what exactly is covered by this?

Any common equipment failures to ask about / check out on my own... any little things about the car that will hint abuse/misuse and shy me away from purchasing?

I've compared this ms6 to a nice Altima Se-R, but i have wrong wheel drive (fwd), and FI cars always are better platforms to build upon IMO.

Please just leave some general feedback and anythign you wouldve wanted to know pre-purchase of your ms6.

BTW, names Charlie and if all goes well, you should be hearing from me quite a bit. Coming from an e36 bmw 318is with some extra kick to it, im hoping this will be quite an upgrade.

There is no such thing as a 8yr / 100k manufacturer warranty ...so he is already blowing smoke up your ass.

nope no 100k warrenty... unless it was purchased from another warrenty provider. So that is bs first off! not a bad price thou, if its in good shape! Good luck keep us posted!

Yeah, they're prolly going to try and sell you a warranty to go with the car. These cars are holding value pretty well. Still, the price is ok for a 06 GT, so popping an extra 1300 or so might be good insurance to get the aftermarket warranty. They came with 5 year/50k BtoB. 07's have a 3yr/36k BtoB and 5year/60k drivetrain. That one is not a Sport, with leather & sunroof it can only be a GT. Be sure to drive the car, and take it to your local Mazda dealer & have it checked out before you buy.
