ok i feel like im getting bad connection sometimes my AP cuts out during logging cuz i bump the cable... this is cuz i feel i am breaking the connection every time i pull the odb2 plug off cuz theres no visible clips and it takes quite a yank... what am i doing wrong? or is this just the way it is? cuz they dont expect you to use your diagnostic port much? cuz i swear the end that plugs into the AP is a dream... but the ODB2 port side is a nightmare

any input greatly appretiated... thanks guys

I don't think you're doing anything wrong except maybe bumping it. Can you do something to keep the connection tight like maybe wrap an elastic or tape around it? Another alternative is to actually move the OBD connector from where it is ... quite easy, just get under the dash and look and you'll figure it out.

I moved my port and left it connected. I only dissconnect it from the usb side(cable 2 AP). And it also looks pretty clean like that.
