Projekt UFO manifold nearing completion

More than likely. I can't afford to have any downtime with my car to dedicate it to 100% R&D, to the point where we can rip it out and fix anything right there on the spot.

Good stuff man. Glad to see ppl still developing new msp parts.

Btw gl making 300 hp on stock internals lol. Only 11 psi is awsome though.

Pretty sure I'm past the 300WHP barrier, the car moves so much more than when it was stock. I really need to get around to Dynoing the car sometime soon.

so if u get this thing going on mass production for everyone that wants one how much is it going to cost to all of us?

Unless you have a forged motor and built tranny I highly doubt your past the 300 HP mark. 300 Hp in these cars requires a ton of mods and not just bolts on running high boost. It requires a specific tune, most likely a full stand alone EMS. The guys making 300 HP+ know they are making 300hp+ cause they've invested countless hours tuning, and building the block and tranny ect. To be honest You most likely in the 220-230 range. You have a nice set-up, and some solid mods. I would love to see a dyno though.

depending on the amount of people getting one, probably about 300 i'm guessing...

plus i think that it's a lot easier to feel like you have more power than you actually do...

well don't literately quote me on that, lol i seriously have no idea, just guessing from about what he paid for his...

Looking in the 350 range. I did get the chance to talk to him, and if he can make up another one, I will post pics. I will be referencing the whole thread to see who is the lucky receiver of the first Production ProjektUFO manifold. Right after AMM is obtained.

how are these things gonna hold up to cracking? Only one I've not heard of cracking yet is steedspeed's... for obvious reasons.... lol $250 for a mani would be sweet, but if its gonna last as long as the OBX, whats the point?

I've had mine on for 3 months to this day. I have no problems with cracking as of yet. Still builds and holds boost. Just sent him a request to build another one. So we will see how the next one comes along.

3 months isn't exactly a durability test in my eyes.... I in no way mean to bash or question the integrity, I just want to raise the question.

Hahaha, I know three months is by no means a durability test, just said that as more of a statement of durability thus far.

Dude idk what kinda budget your working with or if this is even possible but if you could offer some kind of warranty that would sway some that are on the fence about this piece.

u know u want me to test it.. lol.. mods are already there! and still running on the crap ass stocker!

DST, PM me and we will talk.

mp3-79bronco- I dunno, you seem perfectly happy with your OBX, why would I give you a free part for your car.

Bob stands by his work, so I'm sure he would go for a 1 year warranty. I will bring that up to him.
