Project MS307 aka ROXY

I actually did horrible. I wasn't able to get a clean pass at all cause I was fuel cutting the whole time. Now that I have my CDFP upgraded, I'm gonna go back and try for a clean pass

sorry for the lazy question but why do our cars have fuel cut?
thanks!

beautiful MS3. Anxious to hear some power numbers & 1/4 mile times. Keep up the great work on the ride.

wait, so the corksport intercooler kit the intake goes ALL the way to the turbo? that makes that kit all the more appealing...

and and SWEET car dude,

I'm dying to know, how much that all set you back? Ball park... :P

I'm know for sure I'm well over 5k maybe even 6k. All my own money and mostly my own work. I don't have the luxury of free stuff from sponsors. I built it LOL.

6K isn't all that bad actually, I was think closer to like 10.. Hell I went to europe for three weeks this summer and spent 7K, 4K on beer alone :P.. I could had a sick ass ride like you if I didnt :P

That is definetly in my future plans cause I'm going bigger turbo/engine build.

Jester, it probably is more but I was just guesstimating.

Abilor, I'm glad I made your day TY!
Abilit

I'm sorry I didn't mean to miss you. The CS kit replaces the air box and the stock inlet pipe. So yes the air box is routed all the way to the compressor side of the turbo.

Do you have any problems with the air box in the rain like a CAI? It rains here a fair amount and I wouldn't want to spend that much money and not be able to play in the rain

I haven't had it rain yet, but I run it through the car wash all the time. Corksport is based in Washington where it rains all the time so I'm sure the kit does not have water issues. Also I have yet to hear anything about rain being an issue with this kit. The filter is a K&N filter, I believe they aren't as permeable to rain as well.
