Production Number

are the first thousand production numbers the blue mp3's and the remaining 500 (1000-1500) the yellow mp3's??

or is it just random

I believe the actual split up stats are 1180 Blue and 320 Yellow.

As for numbering, of the 1180 Blue MP3s, 250 are in Canada and have no production numbers unfortunately. As far as I understand, the remaining Yellow and Blue MP3s that exist in the states are mixed up in terms of production numbers...what I mean to say is that there isn't a set grouping of Blue and Yellow ones...not any pattern I've seen from other members numbers anyhow.

Actually OxGreggiexO is correct the first 1000 mp3's are the laser blue and the last 500 are yellow.

humm.... thats odd. if you looks at everyone else's numbers everyone with blue cars have numbers below 1000 and 1000 and up are yellow.... but maybe im wrong. i was just going off of logic.

Ok MP3-E...where exactly are you getting your information from...because others have called Mazda America before and been told the split is 1180 Blue/320 Yellow.....here's a link about that: Correct Number?

As for the numbering, it could be the first ones in the numbering are all blue...the only problem that then becomes confusing, is that I know there are yellow MP3s that are below the 1180 mark...so somewhere something is fudged up. :)

Hehe didn't see that post...so obviously if Greggie's number is that high it shows that it can't be a very well organized order....I would have to say that it'd be hard to tell unless we had every MP3 owner posting here and they'd need their numbers too of course. LOL, maybe Mazda just makes up a production number when everyone calls in. :D

They probably manufactured all of them then # them other wise how could the numbers in between the blue and yellows be varied so much. Unless they built them Blue Blue Yellow or something. I still haven't found out my number.
