Problems tapping power off fuse box

Take the fuse out and reverse it and you'll still get power.

What I meant to say is reverse the direction of the add-a-fuse, pull the fuse out of it, and you'll still have power. In that direction you are bypassing the fuse and have no protection on either circuit.

Then there must be different fuse taps in sale. Fuse taps I bought could be used both ways and cut the power with the fuse pulled out. Both on orginal curcuit and the new tapped in.
