Problem with prosport boost gauge

I installed a Prosport Premium Amber/White electronic boost gauge about a month ago. Everything was fine until 2 days ago, when the needle started going crazy. I mean, the thing will work fine for 2 minutes, and then it starts going crazy giving me a reading of 0 or -30 vaccum, wheter i'm boosting or not.

It's not a problem with the car because I can totally feel the boost and the car runs A1. I rechecked all the wiring and it seems fine, vaccum lines too.

I've been told that maybe my boost sender got corroded where the connector is, i checked (since i put it under the hoode) and there are no signs of corrosion whatsoever, so now I'm clueless.

Maybe you guys have an idea?

prosport gauges are complete crap. contact prosport and have them replace it. atleast their warranty is decent.

Can I go to them even if I bought it from Street Unit.com?
\\You think its the gauge itself or something else gone wrong?

I had probs with my prosport electrical boost gauge not reading correctly. I then bought the mechanical one, and its been golden for over a year

Same. i really dont trust electrical stuff anyways. Least with mech not much can go wrong.

i got a prosport boost gauge too and its bad i think its doing the same thing ur talking about it works good sometimes

What about that little filter there is on the vaccum right before the T-Fitting.

I'm going to try without that, my friend told me he's had similar issues with his prosport boost gauge. Removed the filter, problem solved and still worked fine.

Ill see..
