Problem After Installing 505zoom Intake Manifold

that's good man. 14 means you're getting closer to the fix. at this point, just take the spacers out and crank it down some. also make sure you check the o rings on the injectors.

I think im gonna get new ones. At least the car is running now. Im not driving it cause its not drivable but its holding 7psi on my greddy E-01 witch is about 14 inches of merc.

What is the best O-rings to get? I remember reading that parts houses dont stock the right ones.

EDIT: My O-rings seemed kind of rough.

the best are from the dealership. get them there. you won't go wrong.

If they don't have them shoot me a PM...I have a set of 4 brand new...it is around $20 for the set at the dealer...

I couldn't get the o-rings from napa, on mine the inside rubber had separated from the plastic shell so I just reseated it and put a little black RTV on the outside of the plastic spacer to hold it in nice and tight. (NAPA is the only parts store inside of 30 miles from me right now)

Its a dealer only item.

Got it finished today. She is pulling 20 inches of merc and running good. I still need to get some washers for the fuel rail and adjust the throttle bracket some. Just little things now. At least I got her running. I also need to redo all my vac lines.

Just now saw this thread... this summer has been really hectic for me, so I rarely get a chance to do anything other than check my PM box.

Rather than taking those spacers out and just cranking the rail down, it's a good idea to use a stack of M8 washers. This gives you some adjustability so you can get a good seal, but also provides a backing and will keep it from vibrating loose.

Sorry that you guys had trouble with it, glad to see everyone is up and rocking though.

okay is anyone running this intake with any rc injectors like 650cc or bigger? If so what style or number are they mine will not fit if there is a trick to it please share. Oh the one's I have are SL4-650.

Prostreetonline has them for $4 each and change...having a problem with the order at the moment and not getting anything back from customer support, but I did get one of them. (need 4 tho...)
