I've been having thta problem for a couple months now. At around 4500+ car is super lagging. The rpms jumps up fast, but from about 50% throttle to WOT, It won't accelerate. 8 can hear the turbo spooling, and my boost gauge says I am boosting but no acceleratio what could the problem be, a bad tune maybe? Also, I am running a joeP mbc and a cx intercooler core. Could those be the problems?

if your rpms are going up and then sliding back down its your clutch. i think its just the tune though. get rid of that mbc though.

The rpms arnt falling back down until I let off the throttle. I'm hoping its just the tune becausee I am using another members tune with similar mods. I also notice that the boost is slippng on my gauge. it will top at 10psi and then drop back down unless I continue to increase accelerate. If I just try to sustain my current acceleration, my boost dies back down.

I have checked for cracks in my IM and in my vac lines. I didn't find anything. My gauge says I am at 20-22ish for my inhg. I believe that is normal range

Disconnect your vac line from the wastegate and blow into it. If you can pass air through it than your wastegate is gone but if it is a brick wall than that isn't your problem. This sounds like your problem.

If your boost gauge says that you're holding boost....it's not a boost leak. This also means that it's not a wastegate issue, because if the wastegate diaphragm was torn and staying open, he wouldn't build hardly any boost at all. If the line TO the wastegate was ripped somewhere, you'd likely be OVER-boosting, so that's not the issue either. A poor tune could give you a dramatic loss of power if too rich, but I doubt it'd feel like you're description, rather it would probably studder and hesitate.

My $.02 is that you're clutch is slipping...

What exactly doesthat mean my clutch is slipping?? I just put in a new clutch about 5k miles ago

Dude coils, your not getting enough spark up top..also if the gap is to big on the plugs this will contribute to the problem.

I switched my coils and it fixed the problem..also wrap your intercooler pipes youl run colder air through your whole system..also they wont heat soak as much when you shut the car off and let it sit.

i dont belive its your clutch your sig says you got a stage 2 that thing better not be slipping..becuase thats what i want and i thought that thing was rated pretty high.

I havnt had to smogit yet. I just bought te car back n November. Plus I still have my cat and o2 sensors... I hope it's pass lol. I'll check my galling on m plugs.. Although I have been havoc this problems before I bought my ngks

Its probably your tune, my car is currently doing the same thing if it is above like 80 degrees. if its like 70 out it runs perfect and pulls hard. I watch my afr's sit at 10 under WOT, the car is faster at like 1/4 to 1/2 throttle, defiantly need a tune. If the clutch was your problem you would notice the rpm's rise quickly and have no pull where as your problem is your rpms slow way down and you have no pull....
