I know I like it...I did the study/research on this car too long..more than 6 months... Most of time I read the posts on the site...to know what's the pros and cons of our lovely P5...

put on almost 100 miles on it now.. ..btw, should I have the first oil change at 1000 miles?

btw, I feel the "position" of the 2nd and 4th gear is too close to the armrest.....kind of weird...maybe short shift is the solution?

My salesman said first oil change at 2500 and then every 5000 miles after that.

Funny, when I was there they said they could only give $500 more off of the 02's than the 03's, which I found hard to believe. I guess I was right to be skeptical, judging from the link you included. Anyway, since the '03 had a year longer warranty (4 years vs. 3) and was a newer car, I went with the '03. A used one would have been fine by me too. You probably don't have to pay anything near the TT&L as with a new car. Who was your salesman? Mine was "Willy" or something like that.

My sales guy was Billy Lock, seemed really cool.... Even if I didn't buy anything from him.
