Price of a 07 Mazda 3i?

A good friend of mine is trying to buy a 07 Mazda 3i outside of richmond VA. She is trying to get it fairly loaded with sunroof and 6 disc, side airbags, etc. She has an offer at 17,800 and she is trying to get them down to 17 even but they wont budge. Can someone clue me in to if this is a good price or if she can expect to get down to 17? Thanks in advance!

Has she looked at other Stealerships to see if she can get the same car at the price she is wants?? Have her go through every little fees and extra warranties they are offering and see if she really needs them. One thing I've learned when I bought my most recent car is you don't have to settle for what they tell you. She can get the price she is looking for.

well she did better than i thought, got the same car she wanted with a few thousand miles on it for 16,800. Not a used car, just heavily test driven. now if i can just get her to join mazdaforums....

A 3i? Those should be selling around $14 or $15 at most, even at the stealership. Even a good 3s would not go for much over $16. I'd have to tell them to look elsewhere. Think about it, a new 3i sells for about $17K with 0 miles. 3 grand off of the asking price of a used one usually gets you near what it is really worth.(drive)
