i have 2 10-inch subs in my car and they pound pretty hard. however they rattle my spoiler and license plate pretty bad and its annoying. the license plate isn't that big of an issue, i can just unscrew it and put a layer of foam or something behind it, however i dont know where to start with the spoiler.

i notice the 4 screws under the spoiler that hold the brake light in place, but its hard to get to with a regular screw driver and i dont even know if it would help to tamper with those.

any suggestions?

DYNAMAT YO

also check that trunk cover thing on the inside, the plastic thats on the hatch, on the inside.
broken tabs that hold it to the hatch may be broken and will produce noises when ur driving and having a sub especially.
i had to take mine off cause it was really bad, and annoying sounds

Isn't 2 10s a little much? I have a single 10 and it's all the bass i'd ever want and then some. If I really crank it up it shakes the spoiler some, but at that level mids and highs to match will blow your ears. Honestly, I listen to music really loud at times, and the rattle is only there if you're right behind the car with the hatch closed.

I listen to hard rock though, I suppose it may be different with bassier music like rap or techno.

Edit: Just remembered My wife's car (mx3) has 2 12s and it sounds good.. never played loud enough for a rattle though
