Prepped for Divisional championships

Took a few quick shots of my car the morning before the races. Thought they might raise some comments. Yes, I race stock. No, I didn't do very well that day. 8th/10. I had never run on race tires before, and they were a lot of fun! I am looking to get some better runs once I learn their limits.

CJ, I envy you. I want to do auto-x but my work schedule on the radio gets in the way. (Stupid radio station!)

Are you getting anything ($ or other stuff) from TireRack.com or the other sponsor decals (I assume on mag mounts)?. Good to see my favorite magazine -Grassroots Motorsports- stickers on the car. Good boy...get your photo in the book.

tirerack helped me out a little. Did some nice things, so I put their stockers on the car. GRM has helped answer a lot of questions also. I'd run stickers from here, but I haven't seen that they are ready yet. **hint hint, nudge nudge**
I might send in a pic or 2 to GRM and see what they say.

tirerack helped me out a little

I'm going to get into auto x a lot more next year since my turbo is in now. But I saw lots of people with these tirerack magnets on their cars at the autox I went to. How do you get them to help you out with the cost of tires? And how much do they help?

Nobody has FINANCIALLY helped me out, but they give me tips and tricks to make things work better and helped me find the best suited products for my need and budget.
Getting a financial sponsor for autoX is basically not going to happen until you are NATIONALLY competitive, which I am not. The best you can hope for is advice and maybe some parts/tools. I got some extras from tirerack, so I run their stickers on race weekends.
Are we ever gonna have site decals available?

I wanted to get some action pics, but I went alone and didn't really know too many people up there. They had a track photographer, but his cheapest shot was $20
The cars that beat me were national level celicas and neons. Really good, experienced drivers.

Here is the link to the results page from the event. It was 2 days, and the combined times were used. I really sucked here, but I learned a lot.
I have been offered to swap cars with a neon driver for the next event. I am considering doin it just to see what they can do different. I have a feeling that he is again more experienced and will kick my ass, but it could be fun!
