Prep work for painting wheels

i want to paint my speed3 wheels a flat black, how should i go about the prep work for this, and then the actual painting process? any help would be awesome thanks guys

Wet sand the factory paint with 800 then do 1000. Dry them off then use the duplicolor wax remover (Get the stuff in the aerosol can) and wipe them down with a lint free cloth. If you want to do a primer spray 3-4 light coats. Let it dry then wet sand again with 1000. Wash the rim off and spray the wax remover again. Now spray your flat black.

Try not to move the can to fast back and forth when your spraying. Just use slow steady passes. Just start at the top and spray left to right working your way down the rim.

This is how I did mine and they turned out way better then I thought they would. Lmk if you need other tips and good luck. It's alot of work to get them to look good.

My little brother is still running these wheels on his Focus, and they still look pretty good.
