I have a 2002 protege5 the rack an pinion broke awhile back. I got used to no power steering since an when I drive a car with power steering I don't like the sensitiveity of power steering. Now what I want to ono is can I take power steering out of my car completely? Like remove the power steering pump rack n pinion all the parts for power steering. Also will it help my engine at all. Thanks for taking the time in reading an responding to this.
