BTW I am "Southern as a Motherfucker" (for lack of a better word) and I wouldn't be caught dead associating that with the confederate flag. b**** and moan all you want about "heritage" the flag has a deep seeded meaning of oppresion and hatred and ignorance and most of all WHITE TRASH (and not the hip trendy, trucker hat kind).

For instance, The Swastika and the Pentagram both have wonderful positive meanings that predate the connotations we have for them now, that doesn't mean I think displaying them is a good idea.
