Post YOUR mile times

i ran about a week ago. 14.54 at around 98 mph with a 2.2 60 ft breaking up 3rd and 4th which sucked. second and last run i got to do i ran a 17+ because top of second and 3rd broke up and i let off...BUT! my 60 ft was a 1.59 launching at 6000 dropping the f*ck*r because i was a tad pissed at the run before and how awesome the car wasn't acting.

im thinking of getting an fcd, pnp cpe not coming soon enough!
 
1.59 is quick! how much spin did you have with that run? I can't get much better than a 1.77, but that still tends to be MUCH quicker than anyone else I ran that day. I'll be installing some CPE shizzle here soon and re running some 1/8 ET. I'll be posting some stuff on here as it comes. Good luck.

haha to my surprise it only spun for a second or so in 1st, it sure as hell thumped alot in 1st too. slammed 2nd nice and hard and then the run went gay...i have to get a bcd. car ran perfect afterward and to this day too.
 
yeah i was breaking up like crazy top end in some gears. it sucks, i need a fuel cut defender or tuning, or run 100 octane next time i go up there to battle the break up.

No offense to the cpe tuner but XEDE is the way to go. Its proven to work..and its out...oh and theres already another speed6 with it in the works.

like a fuel cut, gets too much fuel and pops a hell of alot. im gonna try getting a different bov on there though. i know stock ms6 bov is s***, stock. i had an evo mr bov on there and it seemed to help out but i believe one of the welds on the custom flange may be leaking. so i switched it back for the time being til i get my crushed 1g.

i won't get anything until its pnp for one, the cpe is out as a beta version and it has more features from what i've heard over the xede...but that's for another thread.

Ahh....it actually doesnt do anything more than the XEDE..its not controlling throttle postion and neither is the XEDE..Both models are in the works on fixing that little problem only difference is Protege Garage isnt telling anyone anything about it because who knows when it will be finished and they dont wanna keep everyone waiting in the wings.

But hay..what ever you feel comfy purchasing..like mike said just my .02 cents(thumb)

Whats going on with you guys and posting some results? Just curious as to what the hold up is. Tuning is freaking tuning no matter what system you use so whatever you decide to get is up to you (obviously) But make sure you make your decison on fact..not what you think you heard or what someone who knows someone heard but on pure FACT. The majority say Cpe..I like them but I went with XEDE for tuning. I decided to break the mold basically because everyone was jumping on the cpe bandwagon and hay...Im an underdog kinda guy. The xede works just fine as Im sure the Standback does. (drinks)

well my friend, as you said cpe takes their time to relese stuffs, i for example im waiting for the FMIC and the catback, i have downpipe, intake, and the cpe EMS i have not tuned it and i ran a 13.42 at 101mph, so once i get the FMIC, catback and tune i will be well into the 12s so the reason i have not tuned it is that i want to tune it once i get my parts! so dont feal you ems is better because you ran a 12.99 wich is great, just hold up and catch up once we get our stuff. as the saying goes who loughts last loughts better!

Although the Xede is a great product and does have its advantages over our EMS, it cannot control the fuel pump, it has no BOV VTA function, and doesn't have a boost feedback loop. Not to mention, ours is several hundred dollars less expensive. So please don't claim that ours doesn't do anything over the Xede, because that just ain't true!

Look, the Xede has been out for years, and our EMS is just trickling out the door. This is a brand new, highly complex product and we're moving slowly as to avoid any serious complications. You can't blame us for that can you?

People are just starting to tune their cars using our EMS, and they're having great results. We've dyno'd two cars so far, and both made great power with very mild tunes. One guy made 32whp, and the other 23whp, both were only at 16psi, both had timing pulled, and both were tuned for sub-12:1 air/fuel ratios. So these tunes were very mild, and we're dying to see what a hot tune can do!

Give us some time, and I'm sure there will be plenty of data out there to make an educated decision as to which one is better. Although, I'll stay out of that debate when it comes about, lol!

I've got to practice laucnhing before I hit the track + I want to wait till I get the ETS TMIC on.

Anyone want to take a stab at what I should run this time of year at sea level w/all mods in sig?
