i adjust the speed to whatever will satisfy my light meter to be at 0.

i should, but when the pic already takes a full 30seconds sometimes + another 10 and people driving around wondering what the heck im doin.

i will deff try it, i also try to keep an eye out for enclosed parking lots with the crisp white lighting, i hate yellow. that was just where i happened to be tonight

You can actually change your camera settings to adjust for the yellow lighting, and you can change the "color cast" in photoshop if you wanted too. It won't totally fix it, but it'll look a little better.

If you did a black and white version, or did a sepia (sp?) tone filter over it, I think it would look awesome. There's a lot you can do just with a little creativity. Good pictures though!

my opinion isn't QUITE the word of god... just sayin you took the richness out of the pic, and in low light, thats kinda what it had goin for it.. if you can keep playing and make it pop a different way, more power to you, but when all the color tones are already similar (heavy red balance), its hard.
