Post The Best Pictures of Your Mazda

One of me favorite locations in Atlanta becuase you can see all the windows blown out on the Weston from the tornado in March.

random, but I gotta ask

why do evo owners and sti owners remove their wings? I can understand on a protege where it serves absolutely no purpose but looking freaking sweet, but on the evo and sti I was under the impression that they are actually functional and helpfull to the car's handling? they also look really really good on both cars (the wrx, not so much lol).....I just find it very strange to see people removing a great looking wing when it is also functional to boot?

sweet looking car in any case nova, I wouldn't mind rocking an STI myself (thumb)

Well when I purchased mine in April it was already wingless. However I do have the wing and have been thinking about putting it back on. The wing adds about 10-15 lbs with the stock trunk. Most owners take it off for the cleaner / sleeper look as noted above, but you are correct it is functional. Mine is daily driven and I rarely get above 80mph here in Northern VA. I imagine if I took it to the track it may be a different story?

makes sense

but aren't a lot of spoilers also designed for cornering purposes? those two spoilers are designed for rally cars, which rarely see speeds over 130 mph on a lot of courses.....so wouldn't they be beneficial for cornering downforce? or have I been playing too much forza 2? lol

did, i think it's posted already a few pages back...just during the day...not at night...tripod won't go that low...
