Post The Best Pictures of Your Mazda

LOL! clean and flawless. You should see my car. Its far from that. Thanks tho. I do miss the wing tho. Im thinking about putting it back on.

I don't want to stoke the "wing or wingless" debate again, but I'd put it back on. Never saw your pic with it on before and I think it "softens" the lines from the rack... kind of balances it out height-wise.

Did you guys ever notice the car is more stable at high speeds with the wing on? Also passing semi-trucks and big cargo trucks/grayhound buses doesn't cause the car to shake as much? The car doesn't get "thrown off" its path as easily by the turbulence caused by the big trucks passing etc. And if it's super windy on the highways, the car doesn't get affected so easily.

No, I haven't.

I don't know how much difference it makes with these cars, but in theory its correct. The front lip and rear spoiler are "down-forcers" that force the car down on the road so it handles better at high speeds; especially on curves... more power, more speed, bigger wing.

Theoretically, those down forcers aid in handling at high speeds by improving grip/traction. Yes.

The wing smoothes out air turbulence from semi-trucks/high wind speeds. IDK?

yeah, would it be the airflow pushing against the side of the car cause turbulence while passing a heavy vehicle? or pushing on an angle.

it must be HORRIBLE for people riding motorcycles

with the amount of downforce actually provided by our wings (i'd venture to guess the MP3/03 is slightly more effective than the 03.5.. I still say they won't do s*** until 150+

yes, it sucks, you always pass (only when necessary) in the opposite side of the lane from a big rig.

ScratchNSniff, watch out for objects blocking your subject (ie,flora). In the second photo, the car is to far cropped to the edge and looks a bit blurry. Just some words of advice. ;)

Thanks...I am liking the pic with all the little cars...lol...I see what you are saying...I am just now finally getting more comfortable being able to take pics...I got a Sony H9, which is much better than the camera I had before...now it is still a matter of figuring it all out...
