Thanks. With any luck this year I'll be able to embezzle some body shop into fixing the ding on the nose, the paint that came off the rear decklid and painting the hard top silver in exchange for running their company info on the car.

Wouldn't say its the best but.......
How would I go about getting more light into the photo, adjusting camera settings and such?

slow shutter, tripod. and than run past the camera with a light when it's taking the picture so you get the cool motion blur in front of the car. haha.

That's awesome.

As for night shots, don't change the iso. Leave it as low as possible. Get a tripod or place the camera somewhere immoveable and shoot at long shutter speed.
High ISO especiallly w/ a point and shoot camera will produce extra noise that you dont' want.
 
you might be able to explain th F variable to me a bit. i think the smaller the better because the iris is more open at lower f values isnt it? i dont know a lot about that stuff, first slr, so reading =).
