Post The Best Pictures of Your Mazda

Maybe he was trying for a funky picture. Not everything has to be perfect.

Just because someone posts a picture, doesn't mean I have to like it. The thread title is post the BEST pictures of your Mazda, so I was giving a helpful tip to help make the photo a bit "better". Frankly, if we're gonna go into real constructive criticism, I'd say next time don't cut off the front bumper, take the photo from a lower angle, center the subject in the frame (unless you're going for the rule of thirds here), turn the wheels so the outside of the rim is facing the camera, and make sure the car is clean before you snap the photo (A rag and some speed shine go a long way...) Oh, and leave the HDR off unless you want to ENHANCE the photo, not to MAKE the photo...

Oh and don't forget to remove the front plate (if necessary) when doing a legit shoot. They're ugly and distracting and really detract from an otherwise clean look.

See, I disagree. I like knowing that the gorgeous car I'm seeing actually gets driven. Makes it more real and less like a comic book action hero.

I think he was just saying how most people have an unmodded, econobox and a very heavily modded car. In this case, he has a very low, non-practical for a DD car and a fairly modded "normal" car. I don't think he was bashing it's practicality but more or less showing the perspective on practicality between his two rides.

I could be wrong though.

How does lowering or general modding detract from a wagon's practicality?

Lowering a car directly effects practicality by inhibiting your ability to use certain roads. "General modding" may not detract from practicality. Not bashing at all, they're both sweet cars. I wouldn't exactly consider an MS3 a "practical car", but compared to a modded mx-5, it's the practical one. My dad has an MS3 and it's friggin sweet, but you can't tell me the base Mazda3 isn't more practical. Also, please don't think that by "practical" I mean better, I mean more economical and versatile for daily driving situations. Not autocross.

This. His MS3 doesn't need to be practical, nor should it be, it's just uncommon to see someone who has two modified (and friggin awesome, I might add) cars, as opposed to a tuner and a DD.
