You're lucky guys, here we have a law to "respect"... between december 15th and march 15th winter tires are to be on, or else they give you a ticket of 274$... And anyways, with all that salt they put on the roads, it makes your car rust ten times faster!

had snow, and when i was in Montreal a few weeks ago it was cold enough for snow. But i think both of us will end having some snow for xmas. IMO winter tires should be mandatory in any province or state that has a cold/snowy winter season, i have always had true winter tires on my cars and cars in the family.
