New JS style lip installed finally...

Finally got the js style lip installed. Hand balmed it a gloss black and results are good for what I want. My wife will proably have torn it off inside of a week anyways...

Looks good, yeah same thing, even myself scratched the bottom of the front bumper a couple of times, it would not last on my side (nor wife's)

Carbon Gray, still one of the best colors I've seen on Mazdas, dig it.

Heres my little baby

Happend last nigth

parked it and went inside the house, 10mins later i hear a big crash. i went outside and the car was gone it had rolled down and crashed into concrete wall.

wierd thing was i did not forget the handbrake and still it rolled down

as you can se in the pic it is a little uphill.

Ouch, on the upside everybody is doing allright and it did not hit other vehicles. Also, the rear Toyo tires seem to be wearing uniformly

Feel free to open a new thread on this issue so we can know more details as the fix progresses, especially if you find a hand brake issue. Although not in Sweden I also live on top of a hill and from time to time I have to park my cars on the steep street (nailbyt)

Does your mazda5 reflect light this much?

I was trying to take photo of the 'Phantom blue' color but kind of disappointed
to see instead reflection of the parking lot.

Idea:

I was trying to take photo of the 'Phantom blue' color but kind of disappointed
to see instead reflection of the parking lot.

Find a parking lot that has no lines painted and nothing in the 'behind you' area, take and toss a few buckets of water down on the pavement and make sure that the setting sun is to your back, (Or morning, depends on if you're a morning person or not )

Snap about 30 digital pictures, from all angles, takes about that many to sort through to find the right one. Ask someone to hold one of those 'sun deflector dash things' at an angle to add more light, in fact three or four people NOT IN REFLECTION doing that makes it a great shot.

Paint job pictures come out best in afternoon or early morning pics, and use the 'flower mode' and take some close ups.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune at least no one was hurt. I expect it is repairable. Is there a handbrake issue with the Mazda 5 that i have not heard off? I always leave my car in gear (manual transmission) with the handbrake up.
