Well, I don't do competitions or anything, so my design is pretty basic. I have 2 JL12W6's and I build a plain jane sealed box that fit's perfectly in the trunk of my P5. You could see pics of it here http://members.cardomain.com/mr_pop_n_fresh Also, I just want to add that I got a new rear stability cage, so the box is for sale.

It's in a sedan but you could do the same kind of thing in a P5 if you wanted too.

hey jrod...you don't happen to still have your spare tire do ya?! Unless that fake floor is WAY higher than the normal one, I can't see how you could keep our donut in the back.

Awesome box tho....seems to save a LOT of space for ya!

yeah, I kissed the spare tire goodbye. I only raised the floor about 3-4 inches and still have tons of space. I decided to get a bottle of that sealent stuff and keep it in the car, only if I couldn't get roadside assitance. Since the spare tire can't be used on the front wheels of the MSP anyways because of the LSD. So my spare sits in the garage.

Those are 4 eights, but I was told post construction that we probalby could have gone with multiple 10" subs and been fine. Oh well, maybe someday, all they have to do is fabricate a new top piece to mount the subs in and I could swap it out.

I opted to keep my spare with the first system i built in my P5. Glad i did cause i picked it up on a friday on the way to a show from the install shop.....had a flat on sunday on the way home from the show.....5 hours from home! LOL I called my installer and thanked him for keepin it in there. SO when i redid my install and went BIGGER....i kept it again. Ill NEVER go with out one again!

BUMP!!! i did a search but ended up dead. please post pics guys! i need ideas :)

thanks!
