Possibly new Turbo Manifold???????????????

Well they say it's still a work in progress but a few things already: no O2 bung and no EGR bung. They might be there for the finished product but until I see pictures I am skeptical. I do like the looks of this one better than the Thunder though...

I just saw this on e-bay earlier today, it has potential but I wouldn't drop 700 on a work in progress.

That thing won't bolt up to a msp. Look at the turbo flange... msp is canted so the intake faces toward the radiator and the exhaust faces toward the rear. The manifold that is pictured is straight or maybe even canted a little the other way.

Definitely would stay away from this guys.

yeah i dunno if its a scam, but the fact that the manifold is only tac-welded together in the pics and they dont even have a fully finished one bolted to the car is a bad sign...

Good call, I didn't even catch that.

Well they do mention it is a WIP so who knows. I've made a note of their website so I'll check in from time to time and maybe something good will come out of it.

Well, I would stay away from that just because that guy is out of salt lake city, which you know who is from there ( MAM ) . . . (eekfu)
Wow, let's avoid anything and everything that comes out of Utah and Arizona because that's where MAM was!!! What a bulls*** thing to say, that looks nothing like the MAM manifold and either way that should have nothing to do with anything. It's like saying SLS is actually MAM in disquise... C'mon people...

why not just get the thunder one and support one of our vendors. and its way cheaper.

i would just stay away from any company who starts prematurely advertising a product. I mean honestly they have a tack welded together manifold with no bung or egr tube as their selling picture...Who knows what the finished product will be...they certainly dont because if they had a finished one already they wouldve put that picture up instead...it just seems a little off to me...

I dunno, I really want a new exhaust mani but I just don't like the Thunder. It just looks too small and I really don't like those supports they have welded in place. I'm probably going to just go custom some time in the future ($$$).

understandable. at least with the thunder u have a reputable company so you know your getting your warranty. yea the brackets might be unsightly but its probably not going to break. this one isnt even done. im not one to jump on the mam bandwagon, but... it is out of slc, being presold without being completed, and for the same price as mams. its got beau written all over it. but most importantly, no one knows this company so if it falls apart in a month or 2, are you going to get it warrantied? too sketchy for me.

Oh I'm definitely not getting this, nor do I recommend anyone else doing so. I was just saying they did mention it was a WIP so who knows what the final product might be. It's just something to keep in mind down the road. Who knows, it'll probably go the way of the DCSports Header for the N/A 2.0L Protege, it'll be "coming soon" for 4 years...

the welds are horrible, and look at the scorching from the tac , they really dont know what they are doing. Find a good shop, have them make you one.

The company doing that is not far from us. The owner is named Rob(Not MAM) to help clear up the confusion. I have seen MAM's welds and they are far cleaner than those pictured.
We own the MAM MSP tubular manifold jigs.
IMO, it's one of the cleanest and well designed manifolds I have seen, but with the cost of material and shear amount of labor it makes it hard to sell. If we where to reproduce the MAM tubular MSP manifold is would cost in the $1000 range.
