Possible to replace just clutch on ac?

I have a 2002 Protege LX. The belt on the ac/power steering squels on start up. I've had the belt replaced and tightened. I can watch the ac pulley intermittently stick which is causing the belt to slip and squeal. The ac works fine when the belts stops squealing.

Can I replace just the ac clutch or do I have to replace the whole ac compressor?

I replaced just the A/C clutch on my Protege but that was because the other clutch fell off. Evidently the bolts backed out.

It's pretty easy but you will need to buy a used or rebuilt a/c compressor to rob the clutch off of it. I could not find a place that sold just the clutch.
