Possible to Make 450whp ?

Hey guys.

I am a newb to the mazda scene, but not a newb to forced induction cars.
I used to own a 2003 evo 8 wit 506 whp had a gt35r.

but i am looking to purchase my first MS6 and just looking for some answers. I love to mod cars and make really good power, and from what i have seen even with 35r the MS6 rnt breaking 400whp. it might just be the ones i have seen.

Is it possibly to break the 400whp on these cars? obviously with the right bolt ons and tuning im talking about.

also how much power cant he stock motors, and tranny handle before something goes?

i want to make good numbers like 450-500 whp on these cars if its possible. i understand the motor is nothing like a evo motor where its some what easy to tune and mod and make serious power.

but everyones insight would help me out tons for when it comes downt o buying one and modding it.

thanks

BTW welcome to flame away since i did not use search, i was just looking for straight answers

One guy has a GT40r in his speed 6 and its making about 390whp but hes not done tuning out the kinks.

At this point in time Race roots tuning has the highest hp speed 3 which is at 430whp running low 12's if im not mistaken. I think thats on the stock block too. They have a sticky thread with their turbo kit / dyno logs.

Their current project is a speed 6 in which they hope to make even more power.

The car is still new and tuning is not an easy task. The fuel delivery system is whats limiting the power right now. Other than that the bottom end is solid. I would put down money that in the next year or so we will see many more 400-500whp 3/6's.

But if your really looking for a track monster than this just isn't the car for you. Its a bit too heavy and the gearing sucks. Great driving at 300whp can get you into the 12's.

Once your tracking 300whp you can run into axles breaking / rear diff / etc. The car just wasn't built for it like the evo / sti. But the clutch can take about 350whp and the fuel pump internals should hold up until about 300whp. Thats what im at right now and im on the stock clutch / pump.

386 was my friends top number.. and it wasnt easy.. if you want big numbers just dyno the car as FWD!! youll get 450 easy!! our awd drivetrain eats all our power.. too heavy i guess?? i think its a volvo part??
