So latly since the weather has gotten colder..I get hesitation at WOT for about about 1/4 sec around 5500-5800 rpm in 3rd,4th and 5th gears.....during the summer this didnt happen. so wondering about the fuel pump..Yes I do need to run a datalog...just figure id throw it out here for now..last time I did a datalog it was getting my car tuned and it was running a respectable 1500-1600 psi..1700-1800 is ideal..but it was holding up..but now maybe its time..or maybe its the colder weather I dont know.

pt-performance is like 50 miles up the road from me..should just go there tommorro and pick up some cdfp internals (piss)

Possible... It is the cold weather. Your ECU is cutting fuel because the air is more dense. You are probably overloading your maf tables. I got this the first night it got cold. The ECU then compensated for it over time.

Oh and try cleaning your MAF sensor. Could be dirty aswell

Will do mr mazda..good advise..and I was thinking that as well..but for good measure im tearing out my fuel pump tonight and taking it to pt performance tommorro to switch it out for a upgrade 1. The only tools i dont have is the inverted torx tool..so off to wal-mart to see if they have it..wish me luck haha....so Once i upgrade the fuel pump ill clean the maf..and well take it from there :)

Call PT first. They've been having QC problems with the latest batch of internals and people like me have been waiting on ordered parts for a month.
