PLEASE....

remember the members on the WEST side of the state :(

(det mazda club... etc)
oh pat...we remember, we are kinda hinting at something....

JK JK JK!!!! :D

actually, a buddy told me when i first bought the MSP that when he was in Japan (maybe china) that it was called a "Mazudo" who knows for sure how its spelled. but thatmight be something we could work into the name. just throwin s*** out

My problem with MIZZO is that when explaining it to others it says "Zoom Zoom." Not only does it not directly mention Mazda, I'm not a fan of the Zoom Zoom campaign, a bit pansy-esque.

MichiganSpeed Mazda Club 4evAr!!!!

Remember one thing, without "zoom zoom" you wouldn't have your car and Mazda wouldn't have their success in recent years. You are ripping on yourself and all of us because our cars all are "zoom zoom" technology. When ever someone comments on my car, they always finish by saying "zoom zoom". Why? Because of a VERY successful ad campaign. :D The Mizzo thing was just an idea. I don't care one way or the other really, whatever everyone decides they like the most. (yes)

Oh and Pat what makes you think we were forgetting about you? :D We love you man!

Hey Kevin,

I wasn't planning on any of the exposure stuff until the club was completely solidified and whatnot. That's why I was looking for the feedback, to see who is still interested in the exposure once everything else was taken care of. I wanted to find a way to allow us to be able to explain our motives and whatnot to others possibly interested to join. But I do agree w/ you. We have core things to take care of first. I think though, that a website should come during the buildup process... It doesn't have to be public and whatnot yet, but can simply just serve as an information point for members. But I agree w/ you and just never really expressed it, that core things need to be taken care of first before exposure comes... that's what I intended on anyway. :D

I agree 100%. (hi) The website is a definite plus for communication and drawing new members. I was just putting in my .02 for what its worth, prolly not much. (lol2). At this level it is always great to have people with various connections to add to the mix. Your offer is very generous and would help any club that gets started. (nana)

i kinda like michigan mazda owners group "mmog" but its not that important as long as we get something going soon

What about MMAO (Michigan Mazda Autosports Organization) i would say motorsports but thats just too many "M's". or MMAC (Michigan Mazda Autosports Club) Just to throw some out there.

i like the mmac idea...

since were going to have a lot of meets at autox's and trackdays...

i plan on doing a lot of racing this year and it would be nice to see what all you other msp owners can do in times compared to me...

i havent been able to see how well i drive my car according to times b/c i have seen no other protege racing with me...

I wouldn't say that by having an opinion I'm ripping on anyone, just voicing my God given rights to think what I want. While the Zoom Zoom campaign may have been pivotal in Mazda's growing success, I wouldn't attribute the success of an auto manufacturer on an ad campaign that could have been replaced with millions of other ideas that could be equally as effective. It may have been the a boost in the beginning, but like we all know, once you drive one, these cars sell themselves.

And have you ever seen that Panasonic commercial for a flat panel TV where the guy says "Va.....Va.....VOOM!" and then there are flying TVs and intense music. It's the most awful thing ever. Va Va Voom makes me think of hair dryers, not TVs. Anyway, in my mind I have this terrible connection between Va Va Voom and Zoom Zoom.

My comment on MiZZO and the Zoom Zoom advertising campaign were merely my personally feelings. I felt that maybe if I shared, other people might agree, as it took me a few posts to realize that the idea was gaining momentum. It's like politics and religion, just trying to see if there was anyone out there who agreed, or who I could bring to the Dark Side with me...

who to make love with?

im going to leave it at that so you dont shoot me ;)

im like the ONLY one on the western side of the state. lansing is the middle :(

damn it.

me and anderson, bout it.

yea it could be M3 but witha small 3 (cubed) that would look pretty sweet. cept we need to find some one who knows how to make that small 3. other wise it will sound too much like the bmw m3

I like the m3 (cubed) idea.(thought)

Someone should start a poll with the five best names, and we vote on them.

My $.02.

Jim

The only problem with M3 (cubed) is that it looks good. but sounds kinda weird. but im sure we will just refer to it as the mazda club any way. but i like how me and Etingpros idea on it. if i knew how to make a club i would do it

M... i dont know how to actually type it. i just copied and pasted it. but that looks pretty good i think.
But so far people have liked....

MIZZO (Michigan Zoom-Zoom Organization)
MichiganSpeed Mazdas
MMOG (Michigan Mazda Owners Group)
MMAC (Michigan Mazda Autosports Club)
M (Michigan Mazda Motorsports)

Those are the 5 most popular as of now. but im sure some poeple will come up with some.
