Razor, those red hose covers are nothing more than red wire loom. Check online im sure you can find TONS of places that sell it.
As for the question regarding electronics and problems ... take the time to cover as much of the electronics (and intake filter) as you can. The spark plug boots dont seal off very well against the valve cover and water can and will get down into the wells. This will short the plugs out and the car will basically drop cylinders as it fires. The result ... engine shaking, stalling ... burnt plugs. Its easy to fix since you just need to dry the wells out and replace the plugs, but its something you can avoid. This is the main reason as to why I was against the Wings West Evo hood. They did address the problem but their final product, imho, leaves alot to be desired.
