There are no easy jobs!
CEL came on... got it scanned... 2nd O2 sensor bad... OK, maybe...It cost $70 to replace so I did it, since I bought car used and didn't know if it had been done. Car ran fine afterward but CEL still on. Didn't want to spend $130 on a new CAN capable scanner because money's tight right now so I tried a PCM reset... CEL still, on but car ran fine. Did a KAV reset, CEL went out but now car dies at stoplights if I don't keep revs up... otherwise seems to run fine. I did the KAV reset when the engine was still warm from the test drive. Does anyone know of a specific protocol for after a reset? I know the computer needs to relearn after a reset but I've driven it over 25 miles and no change.
