I've never had this many miles on a rig in a year but thoroughly enjoy the CX-5 and 98% of the time it does what the old 15 MPG Explorer did. I still have the old one but keep it around for the remaining 2% (Mainly towing heavy loads).

What do you average in a year?

Maybe just some guesstimates from the '16 owners and I apologize to the metric owners... just a lazy oversight on my part.

EDIT: Sorry... forgot the thousands separator on 1,000-9,000 for those that care :-)

I'm on track for just about 15,000 in the first year. I just had the first service done about 500 miles ago, and mileage is only now getting better. My last work trip (400 miles) I averaged 31.9 MPG, which is awesome compared to my last rig.

On track to do about 37,000. That's why I get a new car every year =D

hehe...retired now and at about 4k miles per year...the CX-5 should last "forever"...(or until I get a "wild hair") LOL...

Dang... 37K/year... that sounds like long haul trucking mileage :-)

Yea. I work for a wine/liquor/beer distributor and drive between 80-120 miles a day visiting customers. And my car is the go-to car for trips since its comfier than the wife's 3. I wish I could lease because I keep my vehicles pristine, but I just rack up mileage like crazy.

I have had mine for about half a year, and put around 10K on it. This is in stride with other vehicles I have owned, and I typically average 20K a year.

i drive about 5000 KM's a year. work is a 5 minute drive.

my 2010 Mazda3 had 37000 KM (22990 miles) in 6 years

Used to have a 30 mile round trip commute and was on track to do about 13-14k miles a year (with some typical longer road trips). Then we moved in May and my commute is now 6 miles round trip. Since moving, I haven't even put a full 2,000 miles on it. On track to do probably 5-6k a year now.

6K/year. My last car had 58K miles in 10 years and this one won't be driven more.
I work from home and we use it only if we go out somewhere after work during the week and for short trips on weekends, that's about it.
