So I sent in my wife’s 2014 Mazda 2 to the mechanic after it overheated and blew the head gasket. Radiator had a bad leak so it was replaced, head was resurfaced and a new head gasket was installed.
After I got the car back, while driving it home, it began to sputter and it did not accelerate. It wasn’t like that when I took off but after I was about 10 miles down on the freeway. I noticed the traction control light came on and stayed on and the check engine light began to blink.
After bringing it home I checked the codes I was getting and had the following codes:
-Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Low
-Warm up catalyst efficiency below threshold Bank1 (3 times)
-Cylinder 2 misfire detected (2 times)
-P013B generic code
I went to the junk yard and pulled 3 ignition coils that looked clean and then purchased new spark plugs from AutoZone. Ignition coils were placed from left to right on the first 3. Turned on the car and it sounded better but now codes are saying cylinder 3 misfire P0303
Cylinder 2 misfire P0302
Cold start idle air control system performance P050A
And the Warm up catalyst efficiency below threshold Bank1 P0421
I don’t want to spend anymore money on this thing unless I know where the problem lies. Below are the coils I pulled and the codes I am now getting. I also forgot to mention the idle at a red light is low to the point I feel it’s gonna turn off. I’m not very car savvy if you can’t tell so take it easy. Ask be about cardiac rhythms and I’ll be able to assist but cars are not my forte. I appreciate any and all help!!
Ps what is the firing order for the 2014 mazda2?

I found a hose that was just put on without any clamps on both side. The hose was the one connected to a nipple on the motor circled in the picture below. Corrected that problem and car turns on and sounds a little better but still feels like there may be a bad coil. Havent been able to test the coils cause i completely do not understand how to do that with a multimeter. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
